Reconnecting

So – junklight.com is back up and running again. Sometime last year it got hacked (or messed up by a system move that happened) and I never had the energy to rescue it all. However after a much needed week off here we are again.
Given I am still very time poor why am I doing this? Well the main thing is reconnecting with people. I am absolutely hopeless at staying in touch and actually physically seeing people is getting harder. Potentially much harder if another geographical relocation we have planned comes off. So the internet is the only way for now. I have signed up for twitter and I am being a little more active on facebook and of course I am here.
Despite all the hard work life is currently heading in the right direction. Before christmas my company signed a big deal which should be the first of many if the pipeline pans out as expected. At the time the customer asked if we would be celebrating – My comment afterwards was that it felt more like dragging ourselves up on the beach having not drowned after a shipwreck. A feeling I am sure many startup workers will be familiar with.
