junklight started off as my music project. Sadly having three small children and a start up means that I have written very little music over the last few years – something I hope to rectify someday. junklight remains as my online identity and here I am aiming to gather together all my work and projects. 

As to who I am – my name is mark john williamson (called ‘mj’ a long time ago) and have lived variously in Barrow-in-furness, Leeds , Glasgow , Cambridgeshire and currently in  the lake district. I am a software engineer and entrepreneur and am currently working as the CTO of Hanzo Archives a company I was co-founder of.
