Monday afternoon and I'm in the middle of a report that I am bored of writing and so here is a log entry....
We went down to Leeds last weekend to get the cats back. Because we where with Milo we stayed in a hotel. Leeds has really picked up since I used to live there - there is a real buzz about the place - loads of new development as well. In the evening Em and B. came back to the hotel to have a drink and we spent a very surreal couple of hours in a room which was like an old peoples home waiting room having a drink.
This weekend I managed to get a good deal of my studio and books unpacked - its great to see my books again - they haven't been out of their boxes for about a year and half. The new house has lots of shelving so they are not even living in big heaps like they used to do. The studio is all set up as well so I can start proper work on my next planned release. I already have a cd full of samples that I have been working on as source material.
A poem:
This comes from a number of places but was inspired by a visit to Peebles in the autumn of last year - the drive over the moorland to get their in the dark and high winds was quite spooky. The grey men themselves where inspired by a "Secrets of the Dead" type program I saw last year.
