Look at this (warning - big!). Sometimes stuff just blows you away. We live in one tiny (and I mean TINY) insignificant part of the universe and everywhere we have been so far has thrown up surprise after surprise. I am not one for wishing - but if I could have one wish it would be to come back at a time in the future if and when we have achieved deep space travel and explored more of the universe and to see what its like close up.

I guess I'd better post an entry since its been a while. We have settled in nicely down here. My quality of life has improved a lot. This job is considerably less stressful than either my last of my last two jobs which helps dramatically. I am also managing to work 2 or 3 days a week at home waiting for the baby to arrive so I'm not even doing much commuting.
My job at the library is turning out to be very interesting. With a bit of luck I'll be meeting Cory Doctorow tomorrow. On the technical side I've mostly been building servers and writing bits and pieces of web apps to help us manage our projects collaboratively. The servers are on the internet now but there isn't much to look at - I'll post a link when we open then up to a wider audience.
